OUR mandate is to:
  1. Promote plwhiv development by implementing policies and programmes that build plwhiv capacity to resist risk factors and enhance protective factors;
  2. Implement and sensitize on National AIDS Policy (NAP) to ensure PLWHIV participation in the development of the country
  3. Coordinate HIV stakeholders organizations in the national and internationally to ensure plwhiv empowered through structured organizations, collaborations and networking;
  4. Develop OVC support programmes projects
  5. Rehabilitate and expand multisectorial approaches
  6. Facilitate training and workshop of the PLWHIV for ARVs and HAART management

Vision Statement
“A responsible, empowered and prosperous people living with HIV/AIDS”

Mission Statement
“To unleash the full potential of the plwhiv and ovcs through participatory approaches to enable them fulfill their needs and adjust to thee present condition to reduce stigma and discriminations”

------ Core functions
Core functions are a set of activities that are central to the existence of the co existing NGOs. They have been derived from the International AIDS visions and mission.

  1. Implementing, coordinating, reviewing and monitoring programmes on HIV/Aids
  2. Facilitating plwhiv participation in the development processes;
  3. Advocating and promoting plwhiv led initiatives;
  4. Establishing plwhiv resource centers; and
  5. Facilitating leadership, entrepreneurship and life skills training.
Policy Priorities
Policy priorities are based on eight strategic themes that form the basis for the Strategic Plan. These are:
  1. Prevention and control of HIV and AIDS;
  2. PLWHIV and ovcs Employment, Empowerment Participation;
  3. PLWHIV Education and Training;
  4. Lobbying and advocacy;
  5. PLWHIV and ovcs, and Health;
  6. Leisure, Recreation and Community empowerment and exchange programmes for PLWHIV
  7. Management of PLWHIV

The core values guiding the conduct of FAASIK business include:
(a) Integrity and patriotism – FAASIK will endeavor to guarantee PLWHIV the best quality products, fast and efficient services. Its staff shall give their best to Nation building by exhibiting high standards of integrity.
(b) Innovativeness and creativity– this is the basis of the future success of FAASIK. Our commitment to service excellence will be demonstrated by our continuous improvement through creativity and innovations.
(c) Professionalism, Teamwork, and Excellence – FAASIK values effective teamwork, networking and collaboration when delivering services. The organization will support and facilitate teamwork by recognizing both team and individual effort, output, continuous learning, accepting change and
Serving PLWHIV professionally. We strive to attain the highest standards IN THE FIGHT AGAINST STIGMA
In all that we do.
(d) Inclusiveness – We strive to ensure effective PLWHIV participation and representation at all levels of decision making so that SOCIETY can
Gain sense on acceptance of Plwhiv value to the society, feeling
Connected to others and to society, believe that they have choices about
Their future and feeling of being positive and comfortable with their own
Destiny and they have a right to life.
(e) Honesty and accountability: We will integrate good governance at all levels. We strive to serve plwhiv in an honest, trustworthy and transparent manner.
