This Strategic Plan outlines the issues, concerns and challenges affecting the PLWHIV. These issues are The Strategic Plan further outlines the objectives and strategies that my programmes will pursue to enable all categories of PLWHIV of this country fully participate and hence contribute to the achievement of there needs and to contribute to the fight against aids pandemic without being stigmatized or intimidated in any way. Our overall goal therefore is to empower the PLWHIV of this country, so that they can make right choices in life, become aware of the implications of those choices, make informed decisions freely, take action based on those decisions and accept there status and responsibility for the consequences of those actions.
It is to be noted that this Strategic Plan builds on the national aspirations already stipulated in the national KNASP 2005/6-2009/10, KIAS 2007 and Economic Recovery Strategy for Wealth and Employment Creation (2003-2007). Under my watch, the FAASIK remains committed to the full realization of the objectives of this Strategic Plan. With the assured commitment of the entire staff, I believe that the plan that we have prepared will be implemented. Indeed, I undertake to provide periodical briefings and feedback to the Kenyan public and international bodies.
